Power Play
Supporting early childhood development
At the FRC, we focus on delivering children and baby’s programs that help kids get off to a great start in life. Whether it’s learning how to socialize or supporting young families to access the resources they need to succeed, we are here to help.
We know that having positive social and learning experiences early in life can help children lay the foundation for positive life outcomes. It can impact lifelong health and well-being, learning readiness, attachment and identity, social and economic engagement, competence, and active living. Ensuring our children get off to a strong start is essential to their future and the future of our community.
Power Play Program
Our Power Play program brings families with young children from birth to five years of age together to socialize and support one another. It provides a fun, relaxed, inviting atmosphere in which children and families can network, take part in activities, and find helpful information. In addition to on-site resources, our Power Play program also maintains an up-to-date listing of other community resources to assist families.
Power Play runs Monday – Thursdays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
